Tuesday , January 10th 6.00pm for 6.30 pm.
Subject: Social Intercourse.
The meeting will be held at the home of Gordon King and Marian Coppins, at 225 Thacker Street, Ocean Grove.
Please remember to bring your glass and some liquid refreshment as well as a chair. Some mosquito repellent may be useful.

Meeting December 20th, 2011.
Art show final presentation.
Ian Downing introduced the committee and thanked them for their hard work and energy without which the excellent results from our fist venture into the Art Show world would not have been achieved.
The Sponsors, who were our guests at this meeting were also recognized. These generous people were; Phil Edwards, Bill Steains, John Wynne, Peter Williams, Peter Malloy (R.T.Edgar), Bunny Carrigan (Carrad Solutions), and Geoff Eglin (Paxton Press).
A cheque for $4,303.92 was presented to each of the chosen recipients.
- Disabled Surfers Association (Julie and Mark Besana)

- Cottage by the Sea Ian Featherstone).
Reports and Rotary Interest.
- Club Grove membership renewals are falling due in the next few weeks. Fill in the information and give it and the money to Secy Vic.
- The Gordon Institute Scholarship Program for the Catering Course has one applicant,
- Marion Walton reported that the Ocean Grove Primary School have many books for DIK. They will be collected and stored until the end of January.
- Anne Hodgkinson requested sponsorship for one student to attend the VCE Summer School at Melbourne University. She also reported that the visit of the two Thai students was very successful. Their hosts were also thanked.
- Market. As this falls on New Years Day this year James Ricchini suggests we and the stall holders dress to fit the day. Faggs Mitre 10 have donated a further five $150.00 vouchers for the market raffle prize.
- Peter Cullen attended the presentation of the awards to students from Oberon High in memory of Annette Cullen.
- It was suggested that DGE Helen Trigg might appreciate some encouraging emails while she is in Anaheim USA doing the DG training.
- Ambulance Monitor upgrade has been concluded. Of the $14,000.00 needed, $3000.00 came from the Community Enterprise Fund, $2500.00 from Ambulance Victoria and $8500.00 from OG Rotary Club.
The fines session at this meeting was a reverse – members of the Club who had done good deeds were recognized and their informer s were fined. This was a good way to end off the year.

Report of Raffle Ticket selling at the Caravan Parks. There were 171 books sold, so the time given so generously by most of the members and some partners was well spent. The evening was as usual capped off with a BBQ at the Calnins. Many thanks to Nan and John for once again hosting this evening.
