Bulletin for the meeting held Tuesday June 22nd at The Ocean Grove Hotel
President Geoff Brentnall extended a warm welcome to the Lions Club of Ocean Grove/Barwon Heads, visitors and guests.
Club Service, Tim Kemp:
The Centennial Project sub-committee will be required to meet soon.
Changeover Dinner will be held next week. Remember a dress code applies at Barwon Heads Golf Club – jacket and tie.
Directors will be asked to present their goals and objectives to the club at the first meeting in July.
Partners of Rotarians are invited to an informal night of coffee, cake, chat (and maybe a glass of wine) at The Heads, on Thursday 24th June at 7.30 pm. Partners - we would love to see you there.
The District Governor will visit the club on the 31st August.
Martin Geerings, Chairman, Ocean Grove Racing Club: Martin extended an official welcome to representatives from the following organisations – Lisa Neville, MLA for Bellarine with a message of support from the State Government; Tony O’Mara, Specialist Racing Manager, Racing Victoria; Supersprint; Victoria Police; Ocean Grove Fire Brigade; Country Fire Authority; State Emergency Service; Barwon Coast Committee of Management; Mack Woodhouse, Horse Trainer; Ocean Grove Business Association; Barwon Heads Business Association; Ocean Grove Community Association; Lions Club of Ocean Grove/Barwon Heads; and Ocean Grove Surf Lifesaving Club.
