Bulletin for the meeting held at the Ocean Grove Hotel on Tuesday July 27, 2004

Welcome: President Timothy Kemp – Welcome to visiting Rotarian Peter Smith (Ballarat South), Guest David Cornwell, and Rotary Youth Exchange Student from Denmark, Signe Uhlenfeldt. Welcome also to Julius (Judy) Patching A.O., O.B.E guest speaker for the evening.

Youth Service, David Tyrrell: David has received a monthly report from Matt Craig (outgoing Youth Exchange Student)

Vocational, Trevor McArdle: Mock Job interviews are scheduled on August 16.

Market, Tony Haines: Members are required for back-up support for those who have specific roles at every market ie: greeting stallholders etc. These people may only be required for a couple of hours if the regular members are unavailable.

  • Please remember to read your bulletin and note when you are on duty. Give your partner an opportunity to read the bulletin as well. 
  • It is pleasing to see Signe and the progress of the Youth Exchange Program (incoming) to date. 
  • Next week there will be a Club Assembly held in accordance with the standing orders. 

    Guest Speaker, Julius (Judy) Patching spoke to the club on the topic, Olympic Potpourri, in an entertaining and broad ranging address.

    Partners of Rotarians: A Coffee night will be held on August 12th at Barwon Orange - 7.30pm. All partners of Rotarians welcome. A great opportunity to get to know each other better over, and the best coffee in Barwon Heads.
