President: John Calnin is organizing a BBQ and entertainment in the main street on Australia Day. Volunteers are needed. This activity is in lieu of our meeting on Jan 23rd.






Fundraising: Car Raffle tickets selling in the Caravan Parks was on 2/1/2018. Sellers were generally pleased with the numbers of tickets sold.

Dinner following this exercise was at the ‘Sacred Area’ at Bill Steains. Graeme Chamberlain did his thing with the cooking, and delicious salads or sweet dishes were supplied. Approximately 40 members and their partners attended and appeared to enjoy the most palatable food and company. Many thanks to all who contributed.




Motor Neurone Dinner/Auction: Please keep this in mind. 

Feb 13th. in lieu of our normal meeting; $25 per head.





Market: The next market will be held on January 7th 2018.

Health: - Vic Harnath had a quiet Christmas and returned to hospital for more treatment. He will return home this week.

Youth; Nominations of people aged between 18 – 25 years for the RYLA course to be held at Kangaroobi on April 8th – 13th 2017 were called for. Please notify Judy Greer if you know of someone who may be interested.

Community: Point Lonsdale Bowls Club Annual Community Bowls.
This Annual competition will be held on consecutive Mondays throughout February commencing on Monday 5th February. Play commences at 6pm sharp. An entrance fee of $15 per member of team of three. This includes a light meal. The club has always been well represented so please continue this and register your interest with Gerry Spencer ASAP.
