Announcements: Richard Grimmett would like to borrow a Super 8 Film Projector if possible. Please contact him if you can oblige.

Fundraising:
-  ‘Ride the Bellarine’ is on Sunday, April 15th. See John Paton if able to volunteer as more needed as the route has changed due to road-works. Donations in support of the riders would be well received.
Raffle tickets for the donated BBQ issued to members must be returned next Tuesday.

Market: The many hands on deck that worked at the Market on Easter Monday were well rewarded! Takings: BBQ $1727.40, Site fees $1614.00, Corn Toss $80.90, Market Raffle $ 321.05, Gold coin donation for the Kathy Freeman Foundation $2915.75, plus the BBQ Raffle for Polio Plus. There were 118 stall holders with some being turned away and a very large attendance of dogs and people.

Foundation: The Centurian program will be finalized soon. See Rod Greer or Vic if you wish to donate $100 to this very worthwhile annual giving appeal.

Social:
- 17/4/2018 – Drive in Movie. There will be 4 movies of varying lengths shown at Bill Steains. Entry on the left is at 137 Bonnyvale Road. Go through gates down a driveway lined with Cyprus trees and turn right toward the house and garage. Food will be supplied. BYO drinks. A seat may be handy. There must be an apology if your partner is not attending. Cost is $20.00. Time 6.00 – 6.30pm.

Youth: 
- The Graham Bath Community Development Award program is well underway for this year The Primary Schools have been contacted and visited. There are 61 students interested.

Footy Tipping:Dick Clay was the winner this week.

Guest Speaker: Chris Foster,  New member. 
Chris has been living in Ocean Grove for three years, coming from Horsham where he has spent most of his life. He has been married to Jenny for 35years and they have three sons; one an engineer, one in multimedia and the other a baker. He completed a Bachelor of Business Studies at Ballarat College. 

He worked in Accountancy as a partner and became Managing partner in 2012. He indicated there must have been a good atmosphere as staff tended to stay with the firm with some rising from cadets through the ranks to full partnership. He practiced in several areas dealing with small farm and business planning, succession planning, divorce planning, wills management and saving businesses where necessary. Chris sold the majority of his shares in the business in 2014 and ‘retired’ to Ocean Grove He still has some clients. He was involved in the Wimmera Community Business Council and a trustee of the Cancer Care Hospice.

Chris’s leisure activities include Family, travel, caravanning’ gym, golf, and table tennis. His real passion is classic car rebuilding and maintenance, particularly 1950’s American cars. He owns several and enjoys driving them very much.
