President: - President John opened the meeting and welcomed the following visitors:
PDG John and ADG Di Crawford, Rod Stewart & Karen Pecar RI Queenscliff, Katherine Eggleston & Karin Richards RI Drysdale, OGFB Martin & Ann Geerings, OGBC Dick & Leone Clay, Barwon Coast Gary Pike, Lions Club Grant Hall, OG Parks Authority Don Putrapatora, Barwon Coast Gary Pike. Partners of most members. There were 84 attendees.
President John outlined some of the highlights of his Annual Report: -
- The Club has donated $67,000 to many deserving causes. The efforts towards fundraising have been outstanding.
- There have been four Paul Harris Fellowships recognized
Gil Morgan and Jim Ricchini were not present and therefore not given their awards.
- Two members contributed to the foundation anonymously and their contributions were recognized with a sapphire pin.

- A short film compiled by Rod Bush showing the work and achievements made by members of the Club during 2017/18 was shown. This confirmed what we knew that we have been busy and productive. It also showed that many of our efforts were full of fun and good humour.
John Calnin thanked all members of the Board and Service Directors and Committees for their support and hard work. Pearl Macmillan, who took on the role of Secretary at very short notice, was acknowledged particularly.

IPP President John Calnin bestowed the Chain of Office onto President Graeme’s shoulders who then introduced the theme for 2018/19 Rotary Year.
“ BE THE INSPIRATION”
Graeme stated that he believed this was a fitting theme as our club has proven in the past to inspire goodwill and that this will continue into the future.
