Rotary supports Tamaryn

Tamaryn Stevens developed kidney disease at age 10. After two years on dialysis, complications, brain swelling, seizures and temporary blindness, Amy received a kidney donated by her mother, Amy. It is a great surprise and delight to her doctors that Amy is now well enough to be invited to compete in Badminton at the World Transplant Games in Thailand.

Amy is an ambassador for Kidney Health Australia, speaking for the foundation and appearing on television and radio promotions. Amy has also been a regular volunteer for the Starlight Foundation.

Amy was recently presented with a cheque for $500 by the Rotary Club of Ocean Grove before leaving for Thailand with her mother. Vice president Geoff Chandler is pictured handing over the cheque.
