DG Cathy Roth: In an inspiring address, DG Cathy told of the challenges that lay ahead for Rotary regarding membership, the need to challenge conventional thinking and resistance to change. The phrase: “because that’s the way we’ve always done it” no longer applies. Even meeting times should be considered if we are to strive for increased membership.
The influence of Rotary towards positive change is measured in 18,000 Matching Grants worldwide. Rotary is fighting poverty, hunger and illiteracy with some 1.193 billion to date.
This is cause to celebrate! We are challenged by Cathy to ‘Dare to care’!
Coming up…
