President TAG Kemp welcomed members, visiting Rotarians and guests especially our guest speaker and outgoing Exchange Student Jack Madin.

Guest Speaker Jack Madin - Outgoing Exchange Student to Sweden
Jack gave the talk power point presentation that he will give to his host Swedish Club. He highlighted the major features of the city of Geelong and Ocean Grove, his home, family and school, and his own interests in music and sport. A feature of his presentation will be a musical item. Members of the club were invited to comment and a number of members were able to provide constructive criticism.



Reports:
Fund Raising.

Car Raffle. 1 book short of $6000.00. Congratulations to Geoff Ford who sold over ¾ of them.

Rotary International Tsunami Appeal.

Super Market collection $2000.00 - $2500.00 Thanks to Trevor for organization.

CFA Collection from the caravan parks was given to the Rotary Appeal and this amounted to $4000.00

Also a big thankyou to those who wrote substantial cheques for this appeal.

MEMBERS SHOULD REMIND THE PUBLIC THAT ANY DONATIONS TO ROTARY APPEALS - THE WHOLE AMOUNT IS USED ON THE RECIPIENTS - THERE ARE NO ADMINISTRATIVE COSTS AT ALL.

Graham Bath. Graham has moved to Grace McKeller, Room 51 North Block (very New). He would welcome visitors on any day but not until after 11.00 am.

District Conference – Dennis has copies of registration forms at the Bendigo Bank.

Anyone willing to host visitors for the Friday and Saturday night of the Conference should contact John Fox.
