Leanne Kelly speaks to the club after receiving her Pride of Workmanship award, along with Nicki Dunne and Nathan Lewis. Congratulations to all participants.

Leanne works at the ocean grove primary school and she has been nominated for this award by tony haines.

Leanne is an outstanding teacher. Her leadership in the information and communication technology area brought success to many programmes and projects for the students and has also brought personal & community recognition.

Leanne is a strong member of the school council & provides leadership as the curriculum coordinator. Her efforts in linking on-line staff & students with schools in melbourne and in england have produced positive results in projects undertaken in each of the schools.

Some of the projects include a robotic domino topple and a cooking with information technology and science project. These projects have linked staff and students all over australia on-line and via video-conference and generated a nomination for the 2003 victorian excellence award for innovation in technology.

Leanne we commend you for your enthusiasm, innovation, leadership and the obvious pride you have in your work.
