We are expecting a visit from Matt Gerber, former Youth Exchange Student. Matt will be in Australia in June and will address the club on June 18th.

Induction – Anne Brown: Anne has lived in Wallington for about 30 years and has been involved in the CFA, Junior Tennis and enjoys a ‘walk in the park’ (also known as – golf). Anne has been a teacher, teacher/librarian, legal secretary and is a JP. Anne is warmly welcomed to the club and looks forward to being involved.

Community Service, John Wynn: Volunteer required for the debate. Bluff Walking Track - working bee to be held in May.
Youth Service, David Tyrrell: Thanks to Martin and others for organising the night and surprise party for Signe.
Club Service, Helen Trigg: The District Convention will be held in Stawell on May 22. Members attending are to be confirmed tonight. Handover will be held on July 5th at the Barwon Heads Golf Club.
From the floor… Martin Geerings – Last call for members interested in purchasing the Gold Card Entertainment Books, a fundraiser for the Ocean Grove Neighbourhood Centre. These are very worthwhile with lots of discounts.

Rotary Club Historian Bob Osbourne reminds members that he is collecting photos and articles of interest for the club records. If you can offer any history or memorabilia please see Bob.
CPR NIGHT: The Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation and E.A.R night will go ahead. This will be held on 25th May 7.00pm at the Ocean Grove Tennis Club Rooms. Kim Eden from National First Aid will run the course. There is still room for registrations – contact Wal Kelly.
Upcoming Debate: A club debate will take place on May 10, 2005. The topic of the debate is as follows:
“The amalgamation of local councils to form the council of the City of Greater Geelong has resulted in improved services to Ocean Grove and Barwon Heads.”
Vocational Service members will speak for the affirmative, while Community Service members will speak for the negative.
