Reports:
Secretary: A preview of the Second Best Marigold Hotel will be screened at the Village Cinemas on 24/2/2015. All funds raised will go to Polio Plus.
Some members have not paid their subs. Please pay up or you will be named!
Member news: The death of Charles Dawbourne was announced. Several members will attend his funeral service.
It was also noted that Coral Barkers Sister passed away on Christmas Eve. Our thoughts are extended to both families at this time.
Peter Cullen is to have hip surgery on Friday at St John of God Hospital. Hopefully his pain and mobility will be improved.
Car Raffle Sales: The annual selling of car raffle sales in the various Caravan Parks went very well. Thanks to all those members and Partners who helped.
Market: The market was well attended and it appeared that all available space for stallholders was occupied. There were very good sales of Car and Mitre 10 raffle tickets. The next market is well booked.
Art Show: A more detailed report will be available when the final figures are available.
Main Event: After the sales of raffle tickets at the holiday resorts everyone gathered at the home of Marian King for dinner. It was a lovely evening and we were provided with delicious food cooked by Graeme Chamberlain. This was accompanied by equally delicious salads made by several of the ladies, as were the 'bad for you' deserts! Many thanks were expressed to all the providers.
