Report: Meeting 14/5/2015
10 Members attended Drysdale Rotary Club's 40th Anniversary Dinner on Thursday evening. It was a great night and DG Geoff James and his wife Meryl not only attended but also provided the musical backing for a fun sing-along and a dance session at the end of formalities.
A number of presentations were made on the night including a donation of $1000 to Rotary Foundation on our Club's behalf as recognition of the fact that the Rotary Club of Drysdale chartered the Rotary Club of Ocean Grove. All had a good time and the Rotary Club of Ocean Grove was the standout club in the celebrations being the only club that had most of its members on the dance floor late in the evening. Well-done team!
Thanks to John Paton for his report of the activities on the 14/5/2015, I am about half way through my treatment but who is counting?
Please note it is essential that apologies be recorded by 12noon on Mondays, as the club has to pay for members who have not apologized and not turned up!
Phone number is: 0457 315 900, Thank You.
A Reminder… I would be very grateful if a hard copy of reports could be given to me, as it would make my task easier!
