President: Three new members were inducted:

- Meredith O’Neill, whose category is Secondary Education, Meredith will join the Youth Committee and her Mentor will be Lynne Carlson.
- Janet Alexander from the Tertiary Education field. Janet will join the Community Services Committee and her mentor will be Margaret Campbell.
- Alan Keyse who has retired from Marketing Services. Alan will join the Vocational Committee and his mentor will be Dick Clay.
A warm welcome was extended to these new members and we look forward to working with them and enjoying the fellowship of Rotary Service.
- RI Torquay is hosting an event with Cadell Evans on 12/7/2017 Cost is $100.00
- A move of the summer market to Ingermells Park is being considered. Manager/Co-ordinator will be Adrian Schmidt.
- The Club change over will be on 27th June at the Bowling Club. Members are reminded that the evening will commence at 6.30 pm and also to wear Rotary Regalia.
- An Appeal – Does anyone know the whereabouts of the stands upon which the small banners are displayed? The Collendina Hotel, David Tyrrell and Rod Birrell have been checked.

Community: Coast Care is promoting a ‘plastics free day’ at the Chicken Shop on 26/6/17 at 6.00pm. Contact Noel Emselle for more information.
Publicity: Please let Marg Campbell know if you have any suggestions for speakers at a meeting.
Fundraising: Volunteers are needed for the manning of the gates at the Geelong and District Finals matches. This is a good fundraiser for the Club. See Peter Cullen for more information.
- There will be a working- bee to assemble the BBQ next Sunday. Contact Coogs if you can help.
Social: There will be a ‘Light of Day’ fundraiser for research into Parkinson’s disease on 21st and 22nd July at venues in Ocean Grove. The musicians’ move from venue to venue and in the past this has become an event not to be missed. The artists perform professionally and most give their time freely. Tickets can be purchased on line or from the venues. Contact Richard Grimmett for information.
- The Japan tour will be opened to other clubs from 1/6/17.

Footy Tipping - Please pay Alex as soon as you can. The winners this week were Dick Clay and Gill Morgan. The leaders of the competition are Bill Walton and Geoff Ford.
Guest Speaker: Nil
Instead our general and Rotary knowledge was tested with quizzes in each area. The result for general knowledge was much better than our Rotary knowledge.
This the last meeting in President Judy’s year was fun and we thank her for a job well done in this busy year and wish her well in her retirement from this phase of her life as a Rotarian.
