The following update on Tim Kemp's operation to donate his Kidney to his grandson was received from John Fox:
The transplant operation was performed successfully at the Mater Adult Hospital, Raymond Terrace, Sth. Brisbane, 4101 on Monday, 8th Nov. Tim is in Ward 7B.
Young Riley spent 7 hours in surgery, Tim 4 hours, but everything went well, and Riley's new kidney has NOT been rejected and he has even used the new one already. [passed urine]. I spoke to Karen at 0800 today (9th November). FOXY.
