Programme: RYPEN Students address the club.
President TAG Kemp
President TAG Kemp welcomed members and guests. Welcome also to the RYPEN students Karl Blakebrough, Christian College; Dianne McKinnin, Catholic Regional College; Bernadette Gray, Bellarine Secondary College and to their parents.
President Kemp attended a ‘Thank you Lunch’ at the Guide Hall. It was noted that the hall is in need of some maintenance. This may be a future project for the club.
Welcome back to Coral to the position of Club Treasurer and thanks to John Fox for filling in.
President Kemp attended the 5th meeting of the proposed new Rotary Club of Point Lonsdale/Queenscliff and is pleased to report that Henry Hudson has been elected president and Frank Mountford has been elected secretary. The board has agreed that the Ocean Grove Rotary Club will grant the new club the cost of the Rotary Administration fees required to establish the club.
President Kemp spoke to the club regarding the history of the Christmas tree project.
Members are reminded that the changeover dinner will be held at the Barwon Heads Golf Club on July 5th. This is a night for all members and partners, so you will be booked in as such unless you advise otherwise. There will be a two-course meal for $25. The venue is excellent and there will be a number of invited guests who will be seated amongst the members. Please make our guests welcome.
The tree planting working bee scheduled for last Sunday had to be called off due to the rain. However a few members still turned up and some work was carried out in wet conditions.

Job Safety Analysis (JSA) sheets are available at working bees and members are required to fill in these forms on the day. The walking track to 13th Beach will proceed soon with 150 meters of boardwalk and 100 meters of track to start the project.
The Grubb Road track clean-up is also planned, and will hopefully also provide an opportunity for some planting and beautification in this area.
A Donations in Kind (DIK) collection will be arranged in the near future.
