This group funds teams on short-term visits to teach such skills as midwifery, water and sanitation, etc. Global Grant Scholars, Peace Scholars, Humanitarian Grants and District Grants were also discussed.
Thirty eight percent of funding for the Rotary Foundation comes from Paul Harris Society members. (There are only 14 in District 9780)
A central database has been set up to ensure follow-up for Centurion members. Three percent of Rotarians provide 30% of funding for the Foundation.

Guest Speaker: 19 students from three Primary Schools in Ocean Grove who completed "The Graham Bath Junior Community Service Awards" told the members how they participated and learnt from their experiences as they completed the various sections of the program. An amazing number of varied activities were presented by 6 of the 23 students who finished from the Ocean Grove Primary School, 3 from the Surfside Primary School and 10 from The Star of the Sea Primary School.
