This was the second meeting where dinner was optional.
RC of Geelong hosted the Zone 8 Director from the Philippines at the Mecure.
Seven members attended so the Club was well represented.

Secretary Report:
Bellarine "Relay for Life" to be held on 7th & 8th November Club members need to consider whether we want to field a team. Tony Haines has more information or phone Heather Grant 0400 402 561.
Foundation: There is a Seminar in Ararat on 15/11/2015. To receive a grant from District we must have an attendee at this event.
The $2.00 per week moneyboxes are available from Foundation Committee, funds are used as Centurian Donations.
International: Shelter Box No. 13211 has been purchased and is awaiting distribution. Another will be purchased soon using funds from the Winter Market.
Market: Roster circulated for the duties on Sunday 6/9/2015.
Footy Tipping: Alex Magee reported that Geoff Chandler leads the Footy Tipping, and cannot be beaten. Adrian won this week.
Social: There will be a lunch at the "One Day Winery" on 11/10/15 at 1pm. Cost $20.00 per head.
Community: The Water Feature has been removed from Paxton Press suggestions for sites are needed. See John Wynn.
Surfside Primary School is hoping to extend their vegetable garden. Hopefully this will commence soon.
A large Banner belonging to the Club appears to be missing. Probably last seen at Conference. Does anyone know of its whereabouts?
There are 200 plants to plant at the Lookout Reserve on 20th September. List circulated for volunteers. See Noel for further details.
The Youth Science Experience for students from years 9 &10 is being held at the Marine Discovery Centre in January 2016. Billets are required; please see Geoff Chandler or Noel Emselle.
Football finals gate duty will be needed at the St Albans Football ground on 5th and 12th September. The Roster list was passed around again. There are still some spaces so please help where you can. This is a good fundraiser for the Club.
As John Calnin will be away next year for Anzac Day a new organizer for the breakfast will be needed.
Art Show: Please have the Raffle tickets in by the end of August.
Club Assembly:
Team Membership. Geelong Rotary are interested in investigating this concept. This matter was discussed at the meeting and is for further consideration on 8/9/2015. See Rod Greers email of 30/8/2015.
International:
1. Friendship exchange with India. More consideration will be given to this.
2. Christian College has put in a request for help to fund a project in the school of Calixia in Viquque, East Timor. The gold coin donation at the market may be directed to this project.
3. Discussion re involvement with the Geelong Friendship Group who are interested in the area of Viqueque. A speaker may be invited to provide more information.
4. Speaker option: someone from Shelter box or similar.
Youth:
1. Bellarine Secondary College Scholarship recipients are attending the meeting on 29/9/2015.
2. Graham Bath Award Night will be last Tuesday in October.
3. Josephine Bath, a rep. from Samaritan House is a suggested speaker.
Community: Suggested speakers.
