Trivia Night – A fund Raiser for Ned Weatherly
Ned in action Aust Junior
Championships
Ned was introduced to the assembled crowd. Ned is very excited to being able to attend the Junior Olympic Games in Poland in July. He holds several records in his field of sport that is Hammer Throwing. We wish him luck and the best result he can achieve.
There were many people from the Lions Club, Rotary, Bowling Club and many supporters of Ned. The crowd appeared predominately young and the questions and activities reflected this. I am sad to report that this was reflected in the placing of two of the Rotary teams in last and second last. Most participants appeared to enjoy the activities that were varied and well conducted by the organizer and Quiz Master.

A reminder to members about he the 'Walk across the UK' Phil Edwards and a mate are undertaking to raise money to assist soldiers who are currently suffering the effects of military service.
